You've built a solid coaching practice. You've got the credentials, the clients and the experience, but the scientific rigour behind it all is still feels out of reach.

You're often navigating neuroscience concepts - like talking about dopamine, neuroplasticity and the prefrontal cortex - but when clients ask "how does that actually work?" you deflect. You sort of know what you're talking about, but not really.

You see other coaches throwing around brain buzzwords and you cringe, because you know it's surface-level. But you also know you're capable of being more thorough than that.

If, so far, you've read this and it's felt like you, then this is the small-group coaching course you've been looking for, capped at 10 people.

*Even better still, we're applying for 40 ICF CCEs (Pending) so it'll hopefully be another rigorous coaching credential to add to your ever-growing coaching toolkit.

The goldilocks of neuroscience training

Most neuroscience training for coaches sits at one extreme or the other: oversimplified to the point of uselessness, or so dense it never makes it into the coaching room.

I built this programme to translate the mechanisms that matter to coaching - the biology, the mechanics, the meaning - into an understanding you can use when it counts.

Too complex: unreachable and out of touch

Academic neuroscience is precise, but rarely designed for application. You're left with insight you can't translate and research that stays theoretical when you need it to be practical.

Too simplified: accessible but hollow

Pop neuroscience offers neat snippets, often oversimplified and inaccurate, but strips away the metaphors and there's often no substance left. You're coaching far beyond that which sits on Instagram and TikTok.

Just right: rigorous and usable

Specifically designed for coaches who read  ask "what does the evidence actually say?" - coaches increasingly moving into supervision or who need rigour they can work with deeply, not just reference.

Don't worry, as by the end of this certificate, you'll be able to:

  • Confidently explain how the brain works in coaching conversations (without deflecting or oversimplifying)
  • Apply neuroscience frameworks to help clients move from knowing to doing (and being)
  • Distinguish evidence-based neuroscience from pop-science misinformation
  • Coach with depth and precision that reflects genuine understanding, not performance

Module 1:
Biology of the Brain

Building beyond foundational understanding of brain structures, chemicals and networks that shape how your clients think, feel and behave. You'll skip oversimplified models and learn what's really happening when a client is stuck, reactive or avoiding change.

Module 2:
Mechanics of the Mind

Explore how the brain processes information, forms habits, makes decisions and regulates emotion. This is where neuroscience starts to directly reshape how you coach, giving you a framework for understanding why insight alone rarely drives lasting change

Module 3: From Meaning to Mattering

Connecting the science to the deeper questions of identity, purpose and motivation. This module bridges the gap between understanding how the brain works and helping your clients build lives that genuinely reflect what matters to them.

✅ Who this is for:

  • ICF / AC / EMCC-aligned coaches with 2+ years of coaching experience
  • Those who have built a solid coaching practice with regular, paid coaching clients
  • Coaches who are genuinely curious and hungry for deeper understanding, and are already experienced enough to know what they don't know
  • Coaches who feel that existing CPD is too lightweight, doesn't go deep enough and doesn't stick
  • Those with strong coaching fundamentals in place such as presence, deep questioning, holding space, regular supervision

❌Who this is not for:

  • Life coaches without formal training or credentials
  • Coaches who are constantly "too busy" to dedicate 5 hours per week to the programme
  • Those who are too nervous to try out new coaching concepts live on and with other coaches during sessions
  • Those looking to "train the trainer" or launch their own course on the subject
  • Coaches happy to put in the bare minimum of attendance and claim their certificate
  • Anyone wanting to learn neuroscience to sound impressive, rather than to become a better coach
  • Those who want quick hacks or bite-sized snippets

EVERYTHING THE PROGRAMME INCLUDES

- 12 x live 3-hour sessions

Deep dives into neuroscience foundations and their application to coaching practice. We'll cover everything from brain structure and neurotransmitters like dopamine to emotional regulation, decision-making, memory, self-identity and the neuroscience of change.

Dates and times are on the following dates, always a Thursday, from 9.30am-12.30pm (UK time), and include several breaks within the times given:

  • April: 16th, 23rd, 30th
  • May: 7th, 14th, 21st,
  • June: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
  • July: 9th, 16th
  • Note that there are no sessions on 28th May and 2nd July to allow for May Half Term and an additional week's break in July.

-Private-access community during the length of the cohort

Group size will be capped at 10 people, with a minimum of 6, to create a safet and comfortable learning environment. Ask questions, share resources, access session recordings, and connect with peers who share your hunger for depth. This is your space for ongoing learning between sessions.

- Research-backed content aligned to ICF coaching competencies

Every session connects a range of neuroscience evidence and concepts directly to ICF coaching competencies and how you coach. This isn't pseudo-science or science for science's sake. It's real neuroscience that makes you a better coach.

- Neurodivergent-friendly study support material

Clear, structured notes and resources for every session. Designed to be accessible, practical, and easy to revisit when you need them.

- Special pilot cohort dinner in London in September

Celebrate your completion and continue the conversation in person. Venue and date to be agreed as a group. This is your cohort, let's mark it properly.

- Certificate of Completion (40 ICF CCEs Pending)

Recognise your achievement with a new certification for you to boldly promote your new-found neuroscience knowledge!

- More to be revealed nearer the time!

This is a pilot cohort. You'll help shape what this becomes. And you'll benefit from exciting surprises along the way.
