EVERYTHING THE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME INCLUDES
- 12 x live 3-hour sessions
Deep dives into neuroscience foundations and their application to coaching practice. We'll cover everything from brain structure and neurotransmitters like dopamine to emotional regulation, decision-making, memory, self-identity and the neuroscience of change.
Dates and times are on the following dates, always a Thursday, from 9.30am-12.30pm (UK time), and include several breaks within the times given:
- April: 16th, 23rd, 30th
- May: 7th, 14th, 21st,
- June: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
- July: 9th, 16th
- Note that there are no sessions on 28th May and 2nd July to allow for May Half Term and an additional week's break in July.
-Private-access community during the length of the cohort
Ask questions, share resources, access session recordings, and connect with peers who share your hunger for depth. This is your space for ongoing learning between sessions.
- Research-backed content aligned to ICF coaching competencies
Every session connects a range of neuroscience evidence and concepts directly to ICF coaching competencies and how you coach. This isn't pseudo-science or science for science's sake. It's real neuroscience that makes you a better coach.
- Neurodivergent-friendly study support material
Clear, structured notes and resources for every session. Designed to be accessible, practical, and easy to revisit when you need them.
- Special pilot cohort dinner in London in September
Celebrate your completion and continue the conversation in person. Venue and date to be agreed as a group. This is your cohort, let's mark it properly.
- Certificate of Completion (40 ICF CCEs Pending)
Recognise your achievement with a new certification for you to boldly promote your new-found neuroscience knowledge!
- More to be revealed nearer the time!
This is a pilot cohort. You'll help shape what this becomes. And you'll benefit from exciting surprises along the way.

THE EXPLORATION PROBLEM
When a client says "I just can't make myself do it," what's really happening? Is it emotional regulation? Executive function failure? Their brain predicting the effort won't be worth it?
You're guessing. And guessing means you're throwing coaching interventions at the wall hoping something sticks. Sometimes it works. Often it doesn't. Your breakthroughs feel random because you can't see what's actually blocking change.
This programme teaches you to spot the neurological barriers in real time. You'll learn to diagnose what's happening in your client's brain and choose interventions that match the actual problem. Not guesswork. Genuine diagnostic skill.
THE SURFACE WORK TRAP
You're stuck doing surface-level work because you can't go deeper with confidence
You know your clients have more complex challenges than what they're bringing to sessions. But when they hint at deeper patterns - chronic resistance, emotional blocks, behaviours they can't seem to shift - you don't have the neurological foundation to confidently explore that territory.
This programme gives you the depth to work confidently with complex cases. You'll learn to spot the signs that reveal what's really blocking change, and you'll develop the diagnostic skill to intervene effectively at the neurological level that matters.
THE MISSED SIGNALS
Your client talks about procrastination. But is it actually procrastination, or is their brain detecting threat and shutting down executive function? They say they lack motivation. But is it dopamine dysregulation, or are they dealing with an identity-level conflict their brain is protecting them from?
You can't see these signals yet. So you treat the surface symptom instead of the underlying neurological barrier.
This programme trains you to spot the signs. You'll learn what different neurological barriers look like in coaching conversations, how to diagnose which one you're dealing with, and how to intervene in ways that actually create change. This is the depth that transforms your practice.
